Meet Our Team

  • Judith McClure
    DVM

    Judith McClure graduated with an Honors Degree in Biology from Trent University in Ontario, Canada.  She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada.  She started her veterinary career in Chicago and spent much of her time working as an emergency veterinarian at a 24 hour critical care facility on the north shore of Chicago.  She also enjoyed part time general practice relief work and feline house call practice.  She moved to San Diego in 2004 and continued to work as an emergency veterinarian.  When she was not doing emergency work she enjoyed contract surgery work for the San Diego Humane Society in addition to relief general practice.  Sandy Paws Animal Clinic allows her to foster longterm relationships with clients and their animal family members by providing advanced and affordable wellness care for a lifetime and emergency care when necessary.

  • Dr. Brooke Goff
    DVM

    We are excited to welcome back Dr. Brooke Goff to the Sandy Paws Animal Clinic! Dr. Goff attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies and UC Davis for veterinary school. She loves being a veterinarian and has a special interest in preventative medicine and dermatology. Dr. Goff lives in Oceanside with her  two ragdoll cats, five kids and husband.

  • Laura Cline
    DVM

    Dr. Laura was raised in a small town in Southern California. Her love of animals started at an early age on her family’s small farm surrounded by many cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, steer and horses. She participated in 4-H and raised dairy goats to exhibit at the local fair.  After high school she completed her undergraduate degree at U.C. Irvine and later received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from U.C.Davis. She enjoys spending free time with her husband, children and pets. Most weekends you will find her at one of her children’s sports events or outdoors with her dog, Cody. 

  • Morgan Webster
    Practice Manager

    Morgan is a Kentucky native who moved to San Diego in 2020. She joined the Sandy Paws team in 2021. She has been in the veterinary field for over a decade. She is extremely passionate about animals and their owners. Morgan achieved her Associates in Arts and Certified Veterinary Practice Management certification in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys exploring California with her husband and dog Stevie. She also has two cats named Sharkbait and Sully. Morgan's passion for the veterinary field is easy to see in her work! 

  • Jessica Dennett
    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Jessica joined Sandy Paws Animal Clinic in 2022. Jessica received her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 2023. Jessica's sweet nature and passion for veterinary medicine are evident in her work. Jessica enjoys caring for her rescued animals at home (Mookie, Dakota, and Princess just to name a few!)

  • Justin Rodriguez
    Veterinary Assistant

    Justin joined the Sandy Paws team in 2023. Justin is a PIMA graduate who is preparing to sit for his Registered Veterinary Technician license exam! Justin has a huge passion for animals and has a sweet lab named Charlie.

  • Julie Verdugo
    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Julie joined Sandy Paws Animal Clinic in 2022 and assists Dr. McClure in surgery. Julie has years of extensive surgical training and ensures your pets surgical procedure runs smoothly and efficiently. She not only is a surgical rockstar but acts as a mentor for all of our staff. Julies passion for veterinary medicine is apparent in her work. 

  • Leisl Alden
    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Liesl joined Sandy Paws Animal Clinic in 2018. Liesl is certified and specializes primarily in dentistry. She assists Dr. McClure with all of our dental procedures. She has spent her career working in private practice and shelter medicine with a special interest in anesthesia. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

  • Sharin Arroyo
    Veterinary Assistant

    Sharin joined the Sandy Paws team in 2023 after completing her veterinary assisting program at Pima Medical Institute. Sharin is currently pursuing her registered veterinary technician license. She has a special interest in small animal medicine. In her free time she enjoys hiking, spending time in nature, playing instruments, sports, and spending time with her 3 dogs Jasper, Justen, and Nikita. 


  • Leah Cummings
    Receptionist

    Leah joined the Sandy Paws Team as a part time receptionist after moving from Northern California. She studied Ecology and Evolution at UC Santa Cruz and has a passion for conservation with a special interest in falconry. She has loved animals her entire life and wants to pursue a future educating people on the best ways to preserve our planet. She has two pets at home, a lion head dwarf rabbit named Eli and a tuxedo kitty named Reese. She loves communicating with people and looks forward giving you and your pet the best welcome to our clinic.
