Judith McClureVeterinarian
Judith McClure graduated with an Honors Degree in Biology from Trent University in Ontario, Canada. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. She started her veterinary career in Chicago and spent much of her time working as an emergency veterinarian at a 24 hour critical care facility on the north shore of Chicago. She also enjoyed part time general practice relief work and feline house call practice. She moved to San Diego in 2004 and continued to work as an emergency veterinarian. When she was not doing emergency work she enjoyed contract surgery work for the San Diego Humane Society in addition to relief general practice. Sandy Paws Animal Clinic allows her to foster longterm relationships with clients and their animal family members by providing advanced and affordable wellness care for a lifetime and emergency care when necessary.

Morgan WebsterPractice Manager
Morgan is a Kentucky native who moved to San Diego in 2020. She joined the Sandy Paws team in 2021. She has been in the veterinary field for over a decade. She is extremely passionate about animals and their owners. Morgan achieved her Associates in Arts and Certified Veterinary Practice Management certification in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys exploring California with her husband and dog Stevie. She also has two cats named Sharkbait and Sully. Morgan's passion for the veterinary field is easy to see in her work!

Bracey MarquezVeterinary Assistant
Bracey was born and raised San Diego, California. Bracey joined the Sandy Paws team in 2021. She just completed her Veterinary Assistant program in December and plans to obtain her Veterinary Technician degree in 2022. She loves to go on adventures with her two dogs Coco and Leia. Bracey's skills and passion are apparent through her hard work and dedication to the veterinary field.

April MasonRegistered Veterinary Technician
April joined the Sandy Paws team in 2022. She earned her RVT license in January 2023. April attended Cal Poly Pomona University pursuing an Animal Health Science degree. April lived on a horse ranch during college and has vast experience in the veterinary field! In her free time April enjoys spending time with her dog Cleo!

Kalyn SteinVeterinary Technician student
Kayln is a veterinary technician student who joined Sandy Paws Animal Clinic in 2022 and is to earn her RVT license in April 2023. Kayln has a strong passion for veterinary medicine and enjoys general practice along with emergency medicine. She has a sweet chihuahua named Melvin!

Jessica DennettVeterinary Technician Student
Jessica joined Sandy Paws Animal Clinic in 2022. Jessica is set to receive her license in the spring of 2023. Jessica's sweet nature and passion for veterinary medicine are evident in her work. Jessica enjoys caring for her rescued animals at home (Mookie, Dakota, and Princess just to name a few!)

Julie VerdugoRegistered Veterinary Technician
Julie joined Sandy Paws Animal Clinic in 2022 and assists Dr. McClure in surgery. Julie has years of extensive surgical training and ensures your pets surgical procedure runs smoothly and efficiently. She not only is a surgical rockstar but acts as a mentor for all of our staff. Julies passion for veterinary medicine is apparent in her work.

Leisl AldenRegistered Veterinary Technician
Liesl joined Sandy Paws Animal Clinic in 2018. Liesl is certified and specializes primarily in dentistry. She assists Dr. McClure with all of our dental procedures. She has spent her career working in private practice and shelter medicine with a special interest in anesthesia. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
